Just as the FT did a year or so ago, the designers of this digital mess should just own up, put their hands up and completely overhaul the experience. The lack of functionality means I never now read the newspaper I reported this to ES and they came back and said that they were aware of the problem as they had received other complaints but nothing could be done due to the limitations of the app - here we are fast approaching and they say that there is nothing that they can do, how bad is that.
In the meantime I and thousands of others are to be deprived of our favourite newspaper through no fault of our own other than we have vision issues, funny thing is that I thought hatband were supposed to live in a country where all people are supposed to be equal, clearly this is not the case as people with eyesight problems are simply forgotten about.
The ES is a really great paper and is being seriously let down by this inferior App. This app has a huge memory management bug on my iPad 4! This cycle repeats every time I try to delete.
The only way to stop this is to force close the app as soon as I press "clear data"! The contrast with the Metro app is stark: the Metro just works; it only downloads when I tell it to and it uses memory efficiently.
This needs an urgent fix please! The following data may be used to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies:. The following data may be collected and linked to your identity:.
