Legend is not a typo; you lose points every week regardless of how many games you played. Failing to play Glory matches each week will also cause your Glory rank to decay slowly, regardless of your rank. This becomes more noticeable when you reach Fabled, Mythic, and Legend. For everything under Mythic rank, playing at least three Glory games each week will guarantee progress towards a rank-up. Season of the Chosen reworked the reward structure for Crucible and Gambit ranks.

Pop-ups that cover half of your screen are a thing of the past. Now, PvP players have a means of earning Masterwork materials just by playing their favorite playlist. Glory ranks will grant Powerful Gear when you increase your rank. Beyond that, Glory ranks provide no rewards. Shaxx's inventory only correlates with Valor ranks. Those people around me might be playng this whole time, but it basically wont make any real difference, they might get a recipe a box a week earlier in the future and thats it. Overall i do not agree with philosophy that players should be rewarded for not playing, i dont agree with a philosophy that anything should be given for free.

Players who dont play the game are not pushnied for anything, they just dont play. Players who play the game and get no real advantage over the players who dont play - now that feels more like a punishment ;p Also, as i said - at the moment everyone can get those rare top tier recipes and they dont even have to work for it too hard.

Its mainly a matter of waiting. This is the main reason i think it could be a good change. I'm a fairly new player, about a month now, and my experiance of getting recipes has been it is hard. Grinding up the skill levels is tough - I'm mid 60's now in armor - but getting useful things to make is tougher still.

I have numerous recipes I can't use because I don't have the advanced Maille recipes required to make it. And then I have numerous holes in my recipe library where I can't make anything useful for the sets of armor I like to wear for pvp.

My recipe library is a decent size for my character age as I have a friend who i gives me his armor and leather working recipes. I have farmed hard for me choosing a server with a big loot bonus, and hitting the top level npc's.

I'm primarily playing for pvp and I'm only prepared to do so much farming. I'm playing to fight people not farm endless mobs for random drops. So obviously I don't like the idea of it getting harder to get useful recipes through pvp - contribution points. I'm considering not crafting when the chararcter wipe comes. Not sure I'm willing to go through the experiance again.
